Happy Valentine's - a treat shared
I'm not one for Valentine's Day in general - why follow the crowd and support the marketing behemoth that says now is the moment to demonstrate your love and show your ability to be romantic... in the same way as everyone else?
And yet, an excuse to spend time together, to step away from the routine and enjoy each other's company? I'll take that.
So yesterday we experimented with a recipe for Date and Chocolate Valentine's Pots that appeared in the local paper. And used our heart-shaped ramekins for the first time, too!
Very tasty, but we think we may play with the recipe, so I'll hold out on you for the moment... It isn't quite a Birthday Dress, but do you have any particular treats you dust off for celebrations?
